This has been my favorite purchase of 2024 by far.
We live in a condo so storage space is limited for us, but we were in dire need of a carpet cleaner as we have both a dog and cat. Specifically, for the dog though. Our sweetest Pitbull, Dax, is allergic to everything and in turn gets diarrhea periodically. Whether it be from an unsuspecting bystander wanting to give the gentle giant a treat (before we can stop them) or he sneaks something he shouldn’t have (meaning eating blossoms, grass, berries or even a leaf outside) he ends up with diarrhea for a few days.
If you have a larger dog you know that this can be quite destructive on your floors. We have carpeting and while it is really good carpeting meant to withstand animals, we needed some aid after a particularly rough 2 weeks where Dax somehow got a hold of some chicken.
We needed a machine to be small enough to put on a shelf in our “shed” (a small closet) yet strong enough to clean up the mess left from our poor sick 90 lb. muscle monster.

Tough Stain Tool:
This is great for old stains in the carpet. I generally don’t use this attachment if there is a lot of fresh liquid mess. The bristles are tough and if you spray, wait a few seconds and SLOWLY move over the carpet stain it will pick that up in minutes.
Stain Trapper Tool:
I use this when there is still a liquid mess on the floor. The barrel underneath will trap heavier liquids or small solid bits into it so it doesn’t go straight into the machine and potentially get stuck.
Disclaimer: Do not take this attachment off without standing over a sink or tub. To my dismay I have a few times dumped the newly trapped waste back onto the floor and myself!
HydroRinse Self-Cleaning Hose Tool:
Once you are all done cleaning, attach this on, hold it upwards and hold down the spray button for a solid 15 seconds. This will now shoot the rest of the cleaning liquid down and up the hose to ensure there's no mess left in there.
It is simple to use and simple to clean up. What used to take lots of time and scrubbing to still be left with stains in our carpet. Now it takes in total about 15 min to clean up. That includes dumping and rinsing the tank that collects the mess and washing out the attachments.
Note: We do use the Bissell Pet Stain & Odor Machine Formula. We tried other cleaning solutions, but they just didn’t work as well nor really get rid of the waste smell. Big dogs make BIG smells.
